A Sanctuary Point man has been charged, and the search continues for a second, after a man in a wheelchair was allegedly robbed while making a withdrawal from an ATM in Sydney's CBD at the weekend.

About 11.45am on Sunday, March 24, a 42-year-old man - who suffers from spastic diplegia (paraplegia) cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair - withdrew cash at an ATM on George Street at Haymarket.
The man noticed two males in the enclosed alcove area where the machine was located. It will be alleged that after completing a withdrawal from the machine, he was approached by one of the men who snatched cash from his hands.
The two men left the area and were last seen running north along George Street.
Witnesses assisted the man - who was not injured - and police were contacted.
Detectives from Sydney City Police Area Command commenced an investigation.
As part of the investigation, CCTV of the incident was released, with the 42-year-old man joining officers from Sydney City Police Area Command to appeal to the public for assistance.
About 3.15pm on Tuesday, May 26, a 20-year-old man was arrested at Green Valley Police Station.
He was taken to Liverpool Police Station, where he was charged with steal from person.
The Sanctuary Point man was refused bail to appear at Liverpool Local Court on Wednesday, May 27.
