"It's been very smooth it's been fantastic," she said.
"We've always had a percentage of our kids coming every day anyway so for those students it's normal.
"It's great to see everyone, it was lovely to hear them in the playground this morning and their teachers are delighted to have them back."

She acknowledged some students may find the return to the school routine stressful, especialy if they have had a lot of time off.
She encouraged parents to conatc their child's teacher if they had concerns about how to re-establish a routine.
"It can be very confronting for some kids, but our teachers are all very willing to support them," she said.
