Nurses on the South East Regional Hospital medical ward wanted to celebrate International Nurses Day and the super effort they are all putting in during the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead, they face a wage freeze by the NSW government.

Nurses were all due to celebrate International Nurses Day this week. Instead they have been "slapped in the face" by the NSW government, which is proposing to deny the frontline health workers their annual pay rise.
