Earlier this month, the Super W season was called off prematurely, ending the improving Brumbies chances - a squad highlighted by Shoalhaven duo Harriet Elleman (Bomaderry) and Grace Sullivan (Narrawallee).

"I was really sad when the season had been cancelled - we were one week away from making the grand final and we had put months of work into the process," Elleman said.

"I believe all of the teams in the finals were sad to see the competition end the way it did but it was in the best interest of the community to minimise travel and contact between players."

But instead of dwell on the crushing decision, Elleman and her teammates recently put together a passing video to lighten the spirits on everyone during this tough time, but also show the importance of staying home.

"We have a very fun players' group chat and a similar video from overseas was brought to our attention," she said.

"We all agreed it would be so much fun to do our own Brumbies women's version of it.

"My team is full of unique amazing women and we all put our own unique spin on each of our videos, ensuring toilet paper was involved because we were currently in a toilet paper crisis and it was being hoarded like gold.

"It was honestly my last roll in the house that week too, which made it even funnier.

"As a group, we wanted to show even after the season had ended and we didn't finish what we started, we were all still in good spirits and wanted to share that with the rugby community.

"If we could get people to laugh during this uncertain time then the video was worth it."

During the past four weeks since the season was cancelled, Elleman has had plenty of time to reflect on the season that was.

"The 2020 season was another stepping stone for Brumbies women - we had a lot of new faces and so much talent," the Nowra High School alumna said.

"We were preparing to leave it all out on the field against Queensland in Brisbane.

"We can all take a lot of positives out of the way we played this season and use it towards the next season.

"The whole group is determined to use this disappointment as motivation heading into 2021."

Until they resume training, the 26-year-old will continue to keep herself fit at home, as her club rugby season back in Wagga Wagga is also currently postponed.

"We were given a pretty intense bodyweight workout and running program from Brumbies once we started moving into isolation," she said.

"I have been continuing to complete these throughout the week to keep up my fitness and strength.

"Because I want to be apart of the team again and play run on in 2021.

"My team and I have the ability to go for the title and that will be the driving force towards the next season."
