World Surf League representatives Sally Fitzgibbons (Gerroa), and Owen, Tyler and Mikey Wright (all Culburra Beach) have all competed at the NSW Junior State Titles.

Surfing NSW this week announced that the 2020 titles will go ahead later this year.

The event, which features some of the state's best young talent, will be held in Coffs Harbour at a yet-to-be confirmed date in August.

Organisers have also confirmed the competition has been revamped in 2020.

In previous years, all qualifiers were determined by their performances at eight individual regional titles.

However, those events were cancelled earlier this month due to concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic.

Instead, all junior competitors have been invited to enter in their respective age divisions at the state titles.

Surfers will be vying to earn their position in the Australian Junior Surfing Titles, to be held in Queensland late in the year.
