The Greater Illawarra Zone product arguably completed his best cricket season, especially at a representative level.
On Monday, White was awarded Cricket NSW's Josh Hazlewood Medal as the NSW Country Male Player of the Season.
The 26-year-old was mainly recognised for his strong performances at the Australian Country Championships in January.
Representing NSW Country, White scored 455 runs - including two centuries - at an average of 50.56 at the 50-over competition in Toowoomba, Queensland.
His strong performances gained him selection in the Australian Country XI.
White said he was pleased with his form at the tournament and "stoked" to receive the Josh Hazlewood Medal.
"That was my first [Australian country] championship so I didn't know what to expect - to win a major award, it's very rewarding," White said.
"I've worked a lot on my [batting] technique over the last year or so.
"I've done a lot of coaching with kids - that's helped me stay in touch with that sort of thing and work out the kinks in my own game.
That was my first [Australian country] championship so I didn't know what to expect. To win a major award, it's very rewarding.

"Late in the championship, I haven't hit the ball like that for a while, especially in rep cricket. To go out at that level and do that, it's a little bit comforting to be honest."
White's achievements were even more impressive because he had been in poor form during the Twenty20s at the Australian Country Championships.
White finished the T20 games with scores of 18, 4, 24, 0 and 5.
"T20s can go one of two ways. Usually you're going well or bad, and that was the bad time," White said.
"Once we got into it [the 50-over format], I was able to face a few more balls, defend a bit more and get deep in the game.
"I knew I'd be okay, and thankfully I was."
However, White had been in top form in the T20 format earlier in the season.
The South Coast Crew captain mustered 138 runs from three innings (with a strike rate of 226) at the T20 Plan B Regional Bash.
His best effort was an 81 off 54 balls against the Orana Outlaws.
"I was a bit disappointed actually that I didn't do more," White said.
"We couldn't get over Orana.
"They didn't so well, but we didn't get anywhere near it.
"I got 80 but felt like I could have got a hundred and won the game. I felt like that in the other two games as well.
"You always want to do more, but I felt like I was hitting the ball okay and that kind of showed [later on] in Toowoomba."
