A New South Wales man has been caught allegedly trying to send 15.5 kilograms of dried cannabis to his home state.

The man, 52, was charged in South Australia with trafficking a large commercial quantity of a controlled drug, police said on Sunday.
Police intercepted a postal package destined for NSW on April 2, which allegedly contained the cannabis.
He will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
