It bought burgers for each hospital employee from Zac's Cafe at Currarong.
Cafe owners Pam and Paul Zacanini delivered 55 burgers on Tuesday as a surprise for doctors, nurses and all other hospital staff.
The Zacaninis have owned their cafe for 13 years, employ a number of locals, and are also volunteers with the Rural Bushfire Brigade.
"The last couple of weeks have been a difficult time for our community - everyone has worked so hard. We wanted to thank our tireless doctors, nurses and medical staff, and support a local business we all know and love," said Nowra Private Hospital's chief executive Prue Buist.
"This thank you is as much for one of our favourite local businesses as it is for our staff.
"This is a bit of joy for everyone in the hospital at a tough time. We don't know how long this crisis will go on for, so we're taking this opportunity to give hospital staff a small break, and make sure Zac's Café is run off its feet.
"We have a philosophy of 'people caring for people' and we are really proud of our teams who are continuing to personify this as they look after patients from our community."
