Shoalhaven City Council will hold an extra ordinary meeting on Tuesday to consider a number of coronavirus related motions.
On April 7, council will again debate how it should respond to the coronavirus pandemic.
A rescission motion has been lodged for the 25 per cent rate reduction and new coronavirus measures passed at the March ordinary meeting.
The CEO has said after receiving legal advice he believes the rate change is invalid.
"I am of the opinion that Part 2 is invalid in that it purports to constrain the council's power to make rates in advance of Council having undertaken the detailed steps required by the Local Government Act 1993 prior to the making of a rate," Mr Dunshea said.
For the first time ever the meeting will be conducted virtually using video conference technology.
