Shoalhaven City Council has moved to close all in-person customer services in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Council said it will continue to administer essential services including waste and recycling collections, and cleaning of public amenities.
"Plans will be in place to manage this situation as it changes, as per advice from NSW Heatlh," a statement said.
"It is important in times like this that the Shoalhaven comes together as a community and adheres to health advice, to ensure we slow the spread of COVID-19."

Along with the closure of council's administrative building to the public, other services will also shut.
All pools (including ocean and village) will be closed, previously only indoor pools and facilities had been shutdown.
Shoalhaven Libraries will close, customers will still be able to borrow books through click and collect and the home library service.
Waste services buyback centres are now shut and the green and bulky waste collection service has stopped but all depots remain open.
Residents are now being told to contact Shoalhaven City Council though its online and phone services. It will allow then to report a missed bin collection (1800 441 341), lodge and track development applications, pay bills online, view property details, download dog attack witness report, register your pet, report illegal tree removal to rangers (4429 3433), apply for swimming pools compliance certificates and see current and upcoming road works.
