Police are continuing to crack down on crime in the Nowra area, with a three-day operation targeting stealing from motor vehicles resulting in several arrests and stolen property recovered.

Officers from the South Coast Police District Proactive Crime Team, assisted by the dog unit, conducted proactive patrols of Nowra and surrounding suburbs over the past three nights (Sunday, March 22 to Tuesday, March 24).
More than 12 people and five vehicles were searched during the operation and four people issued with move on directions.
A 39-year-old man wanted on outstanding warrants was located in the Nowra area on Monday (March 23).
The man allegedly fled on foot and was located on Moss Street, Nowra by a police dog and handler.
The man was arrested and taken to Nowra Police Station, where he was charged with aggravated break and enter in company using violence, possessing house breaking implements and having goods in custody.

The man appeared briefly in Nowra Local Court Monday and remains before the courts.
On Tuesday night a man was charged after allegedly producing a positive reading to a random drug test.
The man will be issued a future court attendance notice and face court at a later date.
A second man was arrested and charged after allegedly trespassing in a business on the Princes Highway at Nowra.
He will face court at a later date.
South Coast Police District Inspector Dave Cockram said police will continue to crackdown on those who choose to do the wrong thing in our community.
"We want to get the message out there loud and clear that if you are considering committing a crime, we will be out in force and ready to put you before the courts," Inspector Cockram said.
"The results from this operation stem from great proactive police work."
