It hasn't been an easy initiation for the new netball franchise, South Coast Blaze, in the past few months.
Chairwoman Karina Franke admitted it had been a "really challenging" start but she remained upbeat.
"Our board is really experienced and professional, and has a lot of experience in their own workplaces so we've been able to implement a lot of those processes into what we're doing at the Blaze," Franke said.
"We are also closely following the advice from Netball NSW and World Health Organisation. We've had to unfortunately cancel a few of our programs."
However, Franke said the Blaze was able to postpone some of their programs, pending updates from Netball NSW
"We encourage players that we want to continue with these programs this year and, as soon as we're able to, we will confirm start dates and get going with this really exciting stuff," she said.
"We are resilient, passionate and motivated, and we will carry on."
