The mother and son's Scorpions Green side opened their campaign in Coffs Harbour with a 10-nil win against the South Queensland Sharks.
The team then dismantled their club mates, Scorpions Blue, to the tune of 21-6 - in which Zac scored two tries.

Their side backed this up with wins against Brisbane City Cobras (8-2), NSW Northern Eagles (10-2) and Sydney Mets Silver (10-nil).
They ended their pool matches with a nil-all draw with Sydney Mets Navy.
In the semi-finals, Scorpions Green cruised by the Northern Eagles 4-nil, before crushing the Cobras 8-nil in the decider - to secure the national title.
During the C.ex Coffs International Stadium tournament, Jones - a former Pararoos star - scored nine tries.
