A South Coast man charged with terrorism offences has been refused bail before a special sitting of the Nowra Bail Court.

The 23-year-old applied for bail which was formally refused by registrar Ben Brooks on Saturday, March 21.
Police sought a suppression order on the man's name and any operational activities which was granted.
The man was arrested and charged by NSW Joint Counter Terrorism Team (JCTT) following the execution of further search warrants over the past five days on NSW's South Coast.
He was charged with one count of acts done in preparation for, or planning, terrorist acts, on Friday, March 20. An offence which carries a maximum penalty of life imprisonment.
He was also charged with two counts of possessing a prohibited firearm.
The man will reappear in Nowra Local Court on Monday, March 23.
