The Blaze, in partnership with Kiama Netball Association, Shoalhaven Netball Association and Illawarra District Netball Association, created the program for 14 to 18-year-olds to develop future elite netball players, providing them with an opportunity to train with other talented players and receive specialist coaching in a high-performance environment.

Due to the large number of players that trialled in February, a senior squad and junior squad has been selected.
The senior squad features SNA's Shania Campbell-Cooper, Ella Dyball, Isabel Goodwin, Isabella Halls, Eva Mackay, Kayla Rayes and Grace Smith, as well as Ulladulla's Laura Carpenter.
While Shoalhaven quartet Olivia Davis, Kiralee Gray, Rheya Luke and Phoebe Szymoniczek feature in the junior squad.
The squads will be coached across eight sessions by former elite netballers, including former Sydney Swifts stars Nat Behl (nee Sloane) and Kimberlee Gilmour and former UK Netball Superleague player Donna Fearon.
"It was great to see a lot of talented players from the South Coast region and surrounds, including the Southern Highlands and Goulburn, be selected in the program," South Coast Blaze chairperson Karina Franke said.
"I commend all the players that trialled for the program and encourage those who missed out to trial again next year."
