But on Friday, Miller will have the chance to play a Super Rugby fixture at WIN Stadium - a ground he played at numerous times during his junior career.
"It was quite expected [to get a game in Wollongong] but I can't wait," Miller said.
"I played a number of junior grand finals there with Shoalhaven and I have plenty of fond memories there.
"There's plenty of friends and family who have already told me they are going to take the day off work to come and watch - which is great."

"I was stoked when I saw the Waratahs were taking one of their matches to Wollongong this season," he said.
"And then to have our game moved there, it made it even more special.
"The South Coast is a proud rugby region and I'm sure the whole community will get around it on Friday."

The Brumbies will kick-off a triple-header at WIN Stadium on Friday with their match against the Sunwolves from 2.45pm before the Waratahs and Chiefs match at 7.15pm - with an Illawarra verse Hunter fixture (for bushfire relief) sandwiched in the middle at 4.45pm.
"The Sunwolves are always an unpredictable team to play against but the main thing we need to concentrate on is ourselves and what we do well," Miller said.
"Everyone in our squad - which is exceptionally deep - has been working hard towards the same goal and we've been seeing it pay dividends the past few weeks.
"I'm confident we can continue our strong start to the season on Friday."
