The Dragons opened their campaign at Vic Zealand Oval by defeating the Seagulls 2-1.
They then rattled off wins against Callala (2-1), Shoalhaven Heads-Berry Maroon (2-1) and Heads Blue (1-nil), before losing their final round match 2-nil to Illaroo.
But that final loss meant little, as Basin still topped the standings after five rounds - pitting them against Illaroo for the trophy.

In the decider, Basin rebounded to down Illaroo 5-1, to claim the silverware.
On the men's side of the draw, the Seagulls opened their accounts with a 1-nil win against Bomaderry.
This was followed by a 1-nil loss to Milton-Ulladulla, a 2-nil victory over Illaroo and nil-all draw with Shoalhaven Heads-Berry.
Rob Hawker's side sealed their spot in the decider with a nil-all draw against Shoalhaven United.

This result saw the Seagulls finish on eight points, three behind leaders Milton but more importantly, one ahead of the Bears.
In the decider, the green and whites avenged their earlier loss to Milton - who were the 2019 champions - by winning 1-nil in the final.
This trophy means Huskisson now hold all three pieces of men's SDFA first grade silverware - with them currently being the competition champions and winners of the Bolden Blackmore Shield.
