AFTER winning their opening two matches of the 2020 Super W season, the ACT Brumbies, headlined by Bomaderry's Harriet Elleman and Narrawallee's Grace Sullivan, have suffered their first defeat of their campaign - going down 41-8 to two-time reigning premiers NSW.
Despite the match being played at Bankwest Stadium, the Brumbies opened the scoring on Saturday through the boot of Sammie Wood in the third minute.
The visitors held that lead for nine minutes before Waratahs skipper Grace Hamilton barged over in the 12th minute.
