The property, located at 9A Bindaree Street Greenwell Point, is due to hit the market from next week.
It's for sale via Expressions of Interest, with a price guide of about $2.25 million.
The five-acre property, with its own private deep-water jetty, is nestled on the banks of Shaws Creek.
The original home was built in 1932 on land formerly owned by Alexander James Berry in the Numbaa Parish.
The waterfront is approximately 85 metres wide and has room for multiple moorings suited to large boats.
The home has been the residence of the Kimpton family who have enjoyed many years of boating, fishing, horse riding, commercial boat-building and the sustainable lifestyle that has come with the property.
Gina and Neil Kimpton said they have already had a great amount of interest in the home, due to the scenic and private location, as well as the size of the property.
"Packing up and saying goodbye will definitely be hard, but we are delighted to see the home enter its next chapter," they said.

They said the home could suit a buyer looking for a change to coastal living on acreage, but is also well-suited to potential business development in eco-tourism, commercial boat chartering, boat building, wedding receptions and/or a private marina.
Originally designed as a guest house, the home includes five large bedrooms and two main bathrooms.
One of the bedrooms has been converted into a self-contained wing with its own private kitchen and ensuite.
The main kitchen area overlooking the garden and jetty includes the original cast-iron fuel stove.
For winter nights, you can enjoy the open fireplace in the lounge room.
The outer areas include a carport and two-car garage, additional outdoor laundry, mudroom and shower.
Beyond the yard are horse paddocks, shelters and a large farm shed.
The established gardens include Australian Cedar trees, Norfolk Island Pines, Jacaranda and flame trees, mass plantings of Hydrangeas, Agapanthus, various species of clivia, Oyster plants, holly bush, grape vines and rose bushes, as well as a variety of bulbs.
The selling agent is Carrie Bond from South Coast Prestige Properties.
