The Nowra Relay for Life will be held next month and people are urged to support this Cancer Council event.
The event's official launch, on Tuesday, February 25 at the Ex Servos Sports Club, Worrigee from 6pm marks the start of "relay season".
Interested members of the community, team members and team captains are all invited to the launch and teams information night, for an evening of refreshments and friendship.
People, by attending the launch, can get all the information they need about the event.
Representatives from NSW Cancer Council will also explain how the resources and assistance available to members of the Shoalhaven community.
The launch is a free event, but please RSVP to Stephanie Lake (stephanie.lake@nswcc.org.au) as soon as possible for catering purposes.
The Relay for Life is a 24-hour fundraising event for the NSW Cancer Council. It has been held annually in Nowra since 2004.
The 2020 Relay will be held at the Nowra Showground on March 28 and 29, 2020.
