The Show takes particular pride in its junior cattle showing section, with tiny tots to teens taking to the ring with choice bovines.
This year, Gary Nelson's brahman 'Ruby', led by Claire Anfruns, won 'Champion Parader'.
Mr Nelson said his brahmans led well, and had been in demand at the show for a couple of years.
Steward, and former Kangaroo Valley Public School principal Bob Dunn, said the junior cattle showing was one of his favourite events.
"Seeing all the youth involved in agriculture is wonderful," he said.
"They're all so well-mannered and keen. It's good to see."
The top ten cattle selected from the event will go on to represent the zone at the Sydney Royal Show.
