"It's been a big few weeks, but when you're in the country you're used to some of that," Honourary Show Secretary Lauren Murray said.
"The rain has soaked in and it's lovely and green. The community has pulled behind us and we expect to go well."
The show begins 8.30am on Friday, February 14, and runs through til 11pm. On Saturday the show will run from 8am-11pm. Ms Murray said there was something for everyone.
"There are free participation events, like dog high-jump, hay stacking and children's bike ride," she said.
"Then there's a cheese and wine pairing on Friday night, and the rodeo Saturday night, as well as music. After the big weather it's a good opportunity to come together."
