The 2020 Nowra Show's poultry events are shaping up as great forums for show visitors to find out more about the increasingly popular activity of backyard poultry keeping.

Nowra Poultry Club members will be offering free information sessions at their display and information stall on the east side area on Friday, February 7.
Want help choosing a chicken breed or looking after backyard chickens?
Then head for the club stall at 10.30am or 12.30am or 2pm for one of the sessions.
You'll also be able to chat to club members about poultry-related matters and take a look at some great chickens.
The Poultry Exhibition and Competition on Saturday, February 8 at the Poultry Pavilion is where poultry breeders from the Shoalhaven and further afield vie for the Bird of Show award.
This year some rare breeds such as Marans and Phoenix have been added to the show schedule.

The competition also includes a school's competition where schools may enter four birds of any variety.
Juniors and backyard poultry events add a great family flavour to the competition.
Visitors will be able to view great examples of chicken and duck breeds and see which ones make the grade.
The ever-popular chook washing demonstrations will be on in the morning and early afternoon.
Entries for the competition close on February 3.
