One match, the North Nowra to Bomaderry contest, was completed, another match, the Bay and Basin versus Sussex Inlet was abandoned due to the rain and the last match, the Shoalhaven Ex-Servicemens versus Batemans Bay encounter was called off without a ball being bowled in anger.
Bomaderry, given their result, may have preferred not to have played Norths, at Bomaderry Oval.
Norths, in a dominate effort, tore the stripes off the Tigers.
Bomaderry won the toss, elected to bat and could only manage to post 66 runs.
Norths got the runs it needed with ease and only lost three wickets in the process.
The Norths attack was sharp and in a wicket-taking mood.
Norths used four bowlers and they each took wickets.
Damian Spelta was the pick of the quartet and his four-wicket haul came at the cost of 34 runs.
Tobias Hanger got three wickets, Daniel May got two and Matt Hickmott with one wicket rounded off what was a great attacking effort with the ball for Norths.
Jack Carter, 35 runs with six boundaries, made sure Norths passed the Tigers' total with too many issues.
Tristian Woods, 12 runs, and Hickmott, 10 runs, helped Norths cruise to its comfortable win.
Sussex Inlet v Bay and Basin
Bay and Basin, before the match was abandoned, looked to be on top of Sussex Inlet at Thompson Street Oval.
The Basin, after winning the toss and electing to bat first, put an imposing 10/224 total on the board.
Sussex was 0/27 runs and then the match was abandoned.
The aggressive Liam O'Brien led the way with the bat for the Basin.
O'Brien's 86 runs was highlighted by 11 boundaries and one maximum.
The Basin all-rounder only needed 85 balls to make his impressive total.
Aden Twiner was also strong with the bat for the Basin and he made 61 runs.
Twiner's half-century included six boundaries.
Shaun Brooks came in when quick runs were needed and he obliged.
Brooks' 20 runs included two boundaries, a maximum and he only needed 12 balls.
Geoff Benning might be asking to do more bowling after his impressive efforts for Sussex.
Benning only got just under two overs and he picked up three wickets in the process.
Sussex's new ball opening pair of Riley Jarrett and Troy Gillespie took two wickets apiece.
The home side's Paul Kezik, 14 runs, and Daniel Lea, eight runs, were at the cease when the weather intervened.
