Emergency services received a triple 0 call shortly after 3am of a structure fire at Fern Street, Culburra Beach.
A number of Rural Fire Service crews including Culburra Beach, Greenwell Point, West Nowra, Callala Bay and St Georges Basin along with a Fire and Rescue NSW crew from Nowra attended the location.
When crews arrived they found all occupants of the house were out of the building but the two-storey structure was well alight.
There were fears early in the incident of possible structure collapse.
Crews extinguished the blaze but not before the structure suffered considerable damage.
NSW Ambulance and NSW Police personnel also attended the scene.
RFS has handed the site over to police who are now carrying out investigations into the blaze.
Culburra Beach RFS crews continue to carry out regular inspections of the site to ensure all possible hot sports have been fully extinguished.
