Especially for those who have lost loved ones, their homes, beloved pets or prized stock.

The 24-year-old aspiring artist wants to help those in need.

"I've heard the numbers of wildlife that has perished which is dreadful, but I don't know the demographics of how many people lost their pets or beloved prized stock in the fires," she said.

"I've made donations and made some gifts but thought there must be more I could do."

She contacted the Red Cross Disaster Relief and after discussions came up with the idea of providing portraits of pets or beloved stock that might have perished in the fires.

"I'd love to draw people's lost pets or stock," she said.

"Hopefully it's a nice way they could remember them."

Eleisha, who previously operated her own art business, wants to offer her services for free.

And having seen numerous pieces of her work over the years, it would provide a stunning memory.

"I just see it as my way of being able to give something to the fire victims," she said.

"Not everyone can paint and draw. I'm lucky I can.

"It's simple for me - it is not much for me to give but hopefully it will mean a lot to the poor owners.

"This is just my way of doing something."

Each chalk pastel drawing portrait will be an A4 size.

"All I need is a photo of the pet or animal and I can do the rest," she said.

"If the owners would like to provide a little information about their pet or stock, what they were like etc that also helps to bring the portrait to life."

Eleisha is keen to make the offer for Shoalhaven and Far South Coast victims.

The passionate artist, who for now, is working in a pharmacy in Kiama, hopes to one day make art her fulltime career.

"I'm just taking it slowly, I want to keep my passion for art," she said.

"It's not all about making money, you've got to enjoy and love what you do."
