The Concert for Bush Fire Relief will be held at the Nowra School of Arts on Friday February 7 from 7.30pm to 10pm and will include a light supper.
All proceeds will go towards the Mayoral Relief Fund which will assist with the recovery of the Shoalhaven and all those affected by the Currowan fire.
The concert will feature local artists including SiRenics, Leanne and Anthony Girdlestone, Catie Haliday, Olivia Corish, Peter Bishop (also the master of ceremony) as well as choirs Raised Voices, Sing Australia Vincentia and Shoalhaven Community Choir.
Organiser of the concert and Director of the Shoalhaven Community Choir, Sue Hammond-Warne said they hope the community will support the event.
"I felt we should do something to help raise everyone's spirits and music is a great way to do that. All the performers are donating their talents and we look forward to a great night out and hope to raise some much needed funds at the same time," she said.
Entry for the concert is $20 for adults, $15 for seniors/concession/full time students, $10 for children aged 5-12 and free for children under age 5.
Family tickets are also available at $35 for two adults and two children.
