The two inseparable friends wanted to do something to help and they set-up a lemonade stand in front of 133 Berry Street, Nowra to raise funds for injured wildlife.
"Me and my friend Marley really really care about the animals that are being injured by the fires and so we thought we could start a fundraiser by selling lemonade," Ella said.
The nine-year-old Ella said it was sad that animals suffered so much during a bushfire.
The lemonade stand has got great support and by Thursday they had raised $1569 and another $200 was added to the tally by this morning (Friday).
Marley had her own bushfire experience when the Currowan Fire swept into the Hames Road area on New Year's Eve.
"I did not feel worried," the nine-year-old Marley said.
Marley said all the families got together to fight the fire.
The girls' parents Tracy, Nathan, Candice and Chris have been helping by making the lemonade.
