The NSW South Coast is on alert as fires in the north and south of the region continued to spread and threaten lives and properties.
A fire which began on the morning of Thursday, December 19 in the Tianjara area has placed a military unexploded ordnance area under threat. It has burned more than 5,300 hectares and is currently at advice level. It is burning on both sides of Braidwood Road, which is closed.
All fires are at advice level for the time being, updates will be featured in the live blog.
