Bomaderry High School principal Ian Morris said he is "very proud" of HSC students and teachers at his school - even those who did not complete the course.

"We talk a lot about positive exit outcomes," he said.
"It's about what's best for the individual student, and that might be a trade, TAFE, or university."
He said those students who had gone on to complete their HSC exams had worked hard, and performed well - but not at the expense of their mental health.

"We put a lot of emphasis on mental health," he said.
"There is pressure that comes with the HSC, and some students do have high expectations - and that's not a bad thing."
He said year 12 student Jessica Weakley had a "dominant performance" in the exams.
