Waste collections will remain on Christmas Day, however residents are being advised that collection trucks will be collecting their kerbside bins at an earlier time than usual.
Residents need to place their bins on the kerb the night before to ensure their bins are emptied.
In a bid to help reduce Christmas waste, kerbside recycling will also be collected on a weekly basis from Monday, December 23 until Friday, January 31.
Following this period, the recycling schedule will return to a fortnightly collection.
