NOWRA'S Maddy Collier has obviously made a big impression on her new AFL Women's club, the West Coast Eagles after she was recently announced as part of their leadership group for the upcoming season.

Collier, who moved from the GWS Giants to the Eagles in the off-season, is part of a five-person group that will lead Luke Dwyer's side during their inaugural season.
Emma Swanson will skipper the side, with Dana Hooker (vice-captain), Collier, Courtney Guard and Alicia Janz all supporting her.
"All the girls in the leadership group, I'm extremely happy for them and they should be really proud of themselves - they're all really fantastic leaders," coach Dwyer said to Eagles Media.
"We're in a really fortunate position in our footy club where we've got 30 girls who I think over the last few weeks have shown they're all leaders in their own right.

"We've got a really good understanding among the group that we respect each other's strengths.
"At the end of the day, these tight games that we could potentially be playing, they're going to decided based on leadership and how many leaders we can have on the field.

AFL South Coast product Collier and her Eagles start their 2020 campaign against Collingwood on Sunday, February 9 at Victoria Park.
