SHOALHAVEN took home the silverware in Sunday's Greater Illawarra Zone's under 16s Steve Edwards Cup final against South Coast.

Played at Geoff Shaw Oval, South Coast won the toss and decided to bat first.
Behind 47 from Liam Mackrell and contributions from Cooper Hayes (23), Cooper Harrison (14), Zane Mitchell (10) and Byron Lawler (10), South Coast posted 135 from 47.2 overs.
With the red ball, four Shoalhaven bowlers claimed two wickets each including; Lachlan Malcolm (2/11), Hyeon Parsons (2/17), Mitchell Downey (2/21) and Cooper Bramley (2/37).
The final two wickets were taken by Alec Dobson (1/14) and Luke Jones (1/17).
In reply, handy knocks from Dobson (33), Malcolm (23), Jones (18 not out), Jack Walsh (17) and Parsons (16) steered Shoalhaven (7/137) passed the target in the 49th over.
For South Coast, Fynn Baget-Juleff (3/30), Mitchell (2/26), Hayes (1/18) and Mitchell Constantinou (1/30) did what they could.
Shoalhaven side, coached by Andrew Malcolm, also contained Drew Ramsden, Riley Sims, Jay Ramsden and Lachlan Barr.

Elsewhere, in the under 14s, Shoalhaven defeated South Coast (2/108 to 105) at the Berry Sports Complex, thanks to Jared Galvin (4/0) and Jackson Ingram (51).
Shoalhaven was defeated in both the under 13s and 12s though, going down to Illawarra (0/135 to 7/131) and South Coast (7/169 to 9/161) respectively.
Standouts in the losses were under 13s' Riley Ingram (59) and under 12s' Flynn Dunn (3/18).
