Clients and volunteers alike were delighted by the extensive and delicious smorgasbord of hot and cold dishes as well as a vast array of dessert choices.
A lot of chatting and laughter could be heard, and all profusely thanked the committee members for a fabulous function.
The lucky door prize was won by Gloria Byrnes, a client from Terara Caravan Park, who was thrilled with the many bits and pieces enclosed in her package.
Most of the regular Wheels to Meals clients attended, all of whom were keen to be assured that the monthly January restaurant lunch will be held, and on the third Wednesday of each month thereafter.
Particular thanks must go to Terese Holland, who organised the Christmas gathering, and to Kim Hansen and Vivian Wolff, who did the celebratory table decorations.
Sadly, it was the last official function for president, Lois Shaw, who has now retired after many, many years of service on the Nowra Bomaderry Meals on Wheels committee.
