Following the victory, Lauren Woods, of the Kamilaroi mob, was over the moon with the series triumph.
"This being my first time representing Kamilaroi, it is extremely exciting and nerve-wracking at the same time. Being a representative for our people and community is something I'm incredibly proud of," Woods said.
"To make new friendships with both teammates and opposition and to see what impact this opportunity can bring to those participating.
"But most importantly, to have fun."
