Hannah Bowen from Bomaderry and Albert Au from Vincentia shared in a total prize pool of $5700, which was presented at the finalist's concert at St Bernard's Church, Batehaven on Sunday, November 24.
The audience was treated to the musical talents of 12 young performers from Bomaderry to Merimbula.
They performed music from classical and contemporary using instrument or voice.
Albert won the Junior Classical Award with a rendition on piano of "Gade" Op.57 No2 (by Grieg) while Hannah came second in the Junior Contemporary section playing on the piano am interpretation of Latin Prelude 6 (by Norton).
Organisers said both students demonstrated their skill and potential with exceptional talent at such a young age.
The organising committee was particularly pleased with Albert and Hannah as they both entered the auditions last year without being finalists but this did not deter them from trying again this year.
Hannah appears to be following in the footsteps of her brother Luke, who last year came third in the Senior Classical and the year before was first.
Money awarded to Hannah and Albert must go towards their music expenses.
