THE ACT/NSW Country Thunder squad, headlined by seven Greater Illawarra Zone products, is one of four sides unveiled on Thursday, which will compete at the Male Under 15 State Challenge, at the Blacktown International Sportspark.

Batemans Bay's Lachlan Malcolm and Berry-Shoalhaven Heads' Alec Dobson are the only two Shoalhaven juniors selected for the December 15 and 16 tournament.
This duo is joined by Illawarra's Lyndon Coward, William Hoy, Ollie Needham, Victor Strange and Will Watson.

Rounding out the Steve Davies coached side are Riverina's Hayden Forner, Jake Scott and Ben Signor and Western's Anthony Atlee and Blake Kreuzberger.
Following this carnival, the ACT/NSW Country and NSW Metropolitan teams will be named for the Under 15s National Championships in February.
In other news, Dobson, Malcolm and Strange have been named in the Greater Illawarra's Bradman Cup side, which will travel to Albury in January.

Shoalhaven's Luke Jones (Shoalhaven Ex-Servicemens) and Hyeon Parsons (North Nowra-Cambewarra) are in the 13-player squad, which will be coached by Norths product Philip Wells.
These five aforementioned players will be joined in the squad by Illawarra's Rhys Cattle, Bailey Leadbitter, Andy Magnennis and Nate Ruddock, South Coast's Liam Mackrell, Zane Mitchell and Kobe Ross and Highlands' Will Preddey - with Tim Hore as manager.
