IT was a day of strong athletics efforts on Saturday at Nowra's Ron Brown Oval during the Shoalhaven Little's Athletics Club's Gala day.

Local athletes were strongly involved and be it on the track or field they all produced great efforts.
The athletes, judging by the smiles on their faces, looked like they were enjoying themselves.
The conditions were near perfect and while dry, the oval gave the competitors the chance to compete hard.

Track and field athletes from the host club Shoalhaven had fun competing against the squad from the St Georges Basin Little Athletics Club.
The St Georges Basin Little Athletics Club, a few weeks before, had just hosted another successful Dragon Derby Gala Day.
All the Shoalhaven athletes will be looking forward to the Mid South Coast Zone event at Albion Park on the weekend of December 14 to 15.
