NORTH Nowra-Cambewarra's Emily Zerafa has been named vice-captain of the under 13s Greater Illawarra Zone side, ahead of their Cricket NSW Country Championships campaign.

Zerafa, the lone Shoalhaven product in the squad, will assist skipper Annalee Watson (Highlands) in the leadership group, of Craig Bramble's 12-player squad.

This duo will be joined by Illawarra's Brooke Basu, Keisha Baldwin, Nicola Hudson, Ashleigh Barlow and Jasper Robinson South Coast's Kiana Dovern, Cadence Waters, Jessica Bramble and Ebony Winston and Highlands' Ava Maiden - with Joanne Kelly named assistant coach/manager.
Greater Illawarra will open their Raymond Terrace-based tournament against Central Coast at King Park (Bill Bobbins Oval) on December 19, before pool matches against Newcastle (December 19) and ACT/Southern Districts (December 20) - with finals to follow.

In other representative news, a Cavaliers team has been unveiled to replace Highlands in the under 13s Inter Association competition and it features Shoalhaven's Luke Cooper (North Nowra-Cambewarra) and Mitchell Kezik (Sussex Inlet).
Rounding out Tim Hore's side are Dapto's Jackson Brown, Mackay Schumacher and Harrison Orton, Keira's Luca Chiodo and Shiv Kini, Balgownie's William Papakosmas, Helensburgh's Johnathon McGuirk, Northern Districts' Kain Lewis and Wests Illawarra's Prashane Fernando.
