The Charity Santa Ride is a fun, community-based and family-orientated event that raises much needed money for our local Rural Fire Service and is acknowledged by them as their major fundraiser.
Every cent raised is donated to the Rural Fire Service. All costs associated with running the event are covered by sponsors and donations. The event has raised more than $75,000 since it began in 2006.
The ride will set out from Vincentia Village Shopping Centre on Thursday, December 13.
All Santas must assemble on their bikes no later than 6pm.
The ride finishes at The Huskisson Hotel with all ticket holders being provided with a sausage sandwich and a drink.
How can I get involved?
- Buy a ticket for yourself and spread the word.
- Get a team together
- Get a bunch of your friends or work mates together and join us for a great evening of fun
- Donate a prize that can be raffled on the evening by the Rural Fire Service
- Donate money directly to the Santa Ride bank account.
- All members of the community are encouraged to purchase tickets whether they're in a position to ride or not as the more tickets that are sold the more that can donated to the Rural Fire Service. Tthose who don't wish to ride can join the fun at The Huskisson Hotel with their tickets.
