Vicki Marguerite Fuller, 56, pleaded guilty to two counts of receiving the financial advantage from Commonwealth entity.
In a case brought by the Department of Human Services (Centrelink), the court heard Fuller claimed $1351 between June and July 2014 and $25,946 between July 2014 and August 2018 she wasn't entitled to.
In Nowra Local Court on November 8, Magistrate Gabriel Fleming placed Fuller on a 10-month intensive corrections order, meaning she can serve her sentence within the community, rather than in jail.
She also ordered Fuller complete 150 hours community service and repay $27,198.
