FIRST grade skipper Steven Brandon has once again been acknowledged for his exceptional season on the field by taking out Shoalhaven Rugby Club's Player of the Year award, at their recent presentation at Rugby Park.

The event also saw Steven win the Best and Fairest Back award for first grade - with his brothers Mark and Kieran taking out the Most Points and Most Tries awards respectively.
These awards come on the back of Steven and Mark claiming Illawarra District Rugby Union gongs at September's league presentation.
Other club awards went to Duncan Maddinson (Clubperson) and Scott Webby (Rookie), while first grade prizes went to Daniel Hughes (Best Forward), Angus Maddinson (Most Improved Back), Brock Hazlett (Most Improved Forward) and Doug Want (Player's Player).
While the second grade awards were claimed by Zack Wetzell (Best Back), Brad Tatnell (Best Forward), Ky Lucas (Most Improved Back), Jett Fraser (Most Improved Forward), Adam Sargent (Player's Player) - with Greta Lewis and Kees Quinten receiving Appreciation Awards.
