THE weather turned it on at the Culburra Amateur Fishing Club's recent meeting on November 2 and 3, with strong north-north-east winds blowing - making it difficult to consider putting a line in the water.
It calmed a little on Sunday but was still a bumpy ocean.
They had four people weigh-in; one for deep sea and three for beach, rock and estuary with no juniors weighing - for a total of 26 fish.
Congratulations to Vince Henebery who weighed the largest fish, a snapper at 1.6kg and Scott Danvers, who weighed the most fish (nine).
Henebery took out the deep sea section, while Danvers was first in the beach, rock and estuary division - ahead of Ian Crooks and Brian Smith.
Danvers also won the lucky door prize, while Krystal Henebery won the Greenwell Point lucky door prize
Fish caught this month included nannygai, salmon, flounder, flathead, snapper and tailor.
Their next weigh-in is on December 8.
