President of the Nowra RSL Sub-branch Fred Dawson and his team of volunteers did a great organising this important event which was held at the Shoalhaven Ex-Servicemen's Club recently.
Mr Dawson said the anniversary dinner was a grand night and the feedback was positive.
"Everyone had a really good time and they all thought it was an excellent night," he said.
"The program of the night was just right and the whole event was well received."
He was absolutely pleased with the way the whole occasion went.
Mr Dawson's favourite thing from the night was watching 101-year-old Joy Norris cut the birthday cake.

He also enjoyed hearing student Harrison Drury talk about his Kokoda Track adventure which the sub-branch funded.
Mr Dawson said the sub-branch had served an important role in the community for the past 100-years.
Another highlight of the night was the launch of Robyn Florance's book - 'Nowra RSL Sub Branch the First 50 years 1919-1969'.
"Robyn did a great job and it's really well researched book," Mr Dawson said.
"I have been a member of the sub-branch 30-years and after reading the book I learnt things I never knew before."
The sub-branch will soon donate a copy of the book to the Nowra Library and if they have any spare copies will give them to local schools.
