Marine Rescue Shoalhaven is holding its 14th annual Emergency Services Open Day at the Greenwell Point Bowling Club this Sunday, November 10.

The event runs from 8am through to 2pm and all local emergency services will be in attendance - NSW Police, Nowra SES, NSW Ambulance Service, Culburra and Greenwell Point RFS, Fire and Rescue NSW and of course Marine Rescue Shoalhaven.
It is a great chance to meet local emergency services members and get the opportunity to see some of the equipment they use on display.

In addition there will be displays by Australian Border Force and their Dog Unit, NSW Roads and Maritime, NSW Fisheries and TS Shoalhaven Navy Cadets.
There will be flare demonstrations, a mock water rescue involving Marine Rescue, SES and St John Ambulance.
For the young ones (or young at heart) there will be jumping castles and rescue boat rides, you can keep the family fed with the Marine Rescue barbecue on site.
Entry to the event is free, it is an ideal day for the family to see the capabilities and equipment from our local emergency services in a relaxed atmosphere.
There will also be rescue boat rides on the river, a marine rescue demonstration and market stalls.
It is also an ideal way to see if you would like to join up and serve the community.
