The Nowra RSL Sub Branch celebrated its 100th anniversary with what was a vibrant and positive event.
Joy Norris, a 101-year-old Greenwell Point resident and World War Two veteran, got to cut the cake.
The night was also a chance to catch up with friends and soak up the atmosphere.
Sub-branch president Fred Dawson and his entire team of volunteers did a great job and the event was attended by over 100 people.
Mr Dawson was pleased with how the event went and hopes the Nowra Sub-branch is around for many more years.
The Honorable Dr Geoff Lee, who is the acting Minister for Veterans' Affairs in NSW, delivered the keynote speech.

A fascinating address was given by Harrison Drury about his Kokoda experience.
Each year the sub-branch funds a trip for a local student to tackle the Kokoda Track.
Harrison described his experience as something he will never forget.
A book on the group's first 50-years was officially released.
Respected Shoalhaven author Robyn Florance wrote the book and every sub-branch member got a copy.
