The miniature pony made his public debut on Tuesday, October 29 as part of the Paws Pet Therapy program.
Sharon Stewart, founder and CEO of Paws Pet Therapy said Jasper was well-trained for the occasion.
Bags, hoops and the company of small children were just some of the elements involved in making sure Jasper will take any surprise in his stride.
"He's just like a therapy dog, only a bit bigger," she said.
"Like the dogs, he gets people talking, smiling and especially in rural areas, he gets people remembering back to when they may have owned a horse."
Jasper hails from Albion Park and has found his forever home with Paws Pet Therapy volunteer Natalie Harris on her Greenwell Point property.
With no shortage of smiles for his appearance, the little celebrity is already shaping up to be a regular on IRT's social calendar.
