A report into Tuesday morning's fatal accident at South Nowra between a school bus and a motorcycle will be prepared for the coroner.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Flinders Road and Bellevue Street, South Nowra, around 6.45am on October 29, following reports of a collision involving a motorcyclist and a bus.
The motorcycle rider, a 28-year-old Nowra man, died at the scene.
Police have confirmed the bus involved in the accident was a school bus and there were no passengers onboard at the time of the crash.
The bus driver was not injured and was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
A crime scene was established by officers from the South Coast Police District and inquiries are continuing into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A number of roads around the South Nowra area were closed for several hours due to the accident.
Flinders Road was closed at the Princes Highway intersection as was part the road on the western end of the accident scene. The northern part of Bellevue Street was also closed.
Police said the roads were reopened to traffic around midday.

NSW Ambulance Inspector Faye Stockman has described Tuesday morning's fatal accident at South Nowra as "horrific"
"This was a horrific job for paramedics and all emergency services," she said.
"This is a tragic loss of life which hits the South Coast community hard.
"Upon arrival paramedics found a 28-year-old motorcyclist trapped under the bus suffering with multi-trauma injuries to head, neck, chest and pelvis.
"The NSW Ambulance special operations unit were amazing in giving the patient the best chance."
She said the Toll NSW Ambulance Rescue Helicopter was called to the scene with the specialised medical team on board.
"Despite the best efforts of paramedics and our on board doctor, the patient tragically died at the scene," Inspector Stockman said.

9.06am - Motorcyclist dies in South Nowra crash with bus
A motorcyclist has died in an accident at South Nowra on Tuesday.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Flinders Road and Bellevue Street near the Flinders Industrial Estate around 6.45am after reports a bus and a motorcyclist had collided.
The 28-year-old male rider was trapped under the bus.
The Toll NSW Ambulance Rescue Helicopter from Albion Park was called to the scene.
The rider suffered critical head injuries and despite NSW Ambulance paramedics' efforts died at the scene.
Several South Nowra roads are expected to be closed for a number of hours.
Flinders Road is closed at the Princes Highway intersection as is part the road on the western end of the accident scene.
The northern part of Bellevue Street is also closed.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
NSW Police crime scene officers have now arrived at the crash site.
