At the Berry Sports Complex, the hosts won the toss and posted 9/213 from their 45 overs.
Leading the way for the Magpies were Jarrod Mitchell (83) - who hit 13 boundaries during his innings - and David Crapp (45)
The pick of the bowlers for Norths were Troy Sweet (2/25) and Colin Searson (2/30).
In response, Norths got off to a solid start thanks to Sam Lowcock (30) and Hyeon Parsons (22).

Then a handy 62 from Nick McDonald and 22 from Justin Weller put the visitors in pole position to win the game.
But tight bowling from the Magpies and late wickets saw Norths fall two runs short (7/211) - despite 34 not out from Graham Davidson.
Daniel Troy (3/46) and Jarrod Temple (2/38) were key in the win.
