Played at Bomaderry Oval, Aaron Wester won the toss for the visitors and elected to bat first in the 45-over fixture.
United started strongly, with bother openers Brad Field and Rocky Lavalle digging their heels in.
Field was the first wicket to fall, being dismissed one run short of his half-century (49) by Kealen Blattner - an innings which included six boundaries and two sixes.
South African recruit Conrad Greenshields then joined Lavalle at the crease, with the score at 71.

The former came and went for a quickfire 23 before Lavalle eventually fell for 35, being dismissed by Michael Coulter.
At 3/128, United were cruising and despite only six from Peter King, the visitors kept pushing on.
Forty-five from Matt Shea, 32 from Harley Bell and 21 from Wester steered the visitors to 8/236 from their 45 overs.
With the ball, the Tigers were best served by the two Blattner brothers.
Kealen ended with 2/35 from his nine overs, while skipper Zac claimed 2/50 from his 6.1 overs.
Others to claim wickets for the hosts were Coulter (1/15) and Heath Muller (1/30).
In reply, the Tigers were on the back foot early, when Ben King-Gee was dismissed for just five by Greenshields.
Opener Ryan Henry and Zac Blattner then put on 22 runs before the former was dismissed by Greenshields for 19.
Heath Muller was the third to fall, off the bowling of Peter King for 23 - leaving the blue and golds at 3/68.
Things got worse for the Tigers when their captain was dismissed three runs later, for 13, thanks to a sharp piece of bowling by Terry Dorrell.
This started a collapse for the hosts, with Daniel Bryant (one), Max Lans (seven), Kealen Blattner (seven), Stu Jeffrey (two) and Charles Gardner (zero) all falling cheaply - as the Tigers lost 5/41 to be all out for 113 in the 28th over.
Matthew Hiriart finished at 10 not out for Bomaderry in the loss.
With the white ball, Greenshields starred with 3/25 from his nine overs, as King (2/36), Wester (1/8) and Dorrell (1/25) all bowled strongly.
The victors have the bye next round, while Bomaderry travel to Hayden Drexel Oval to face Shoalhaven Ex-Servicemens on Saturday from 1pm.
Premiers North Nowra-Cambewarra had the bye in round one and will start their title defence against Berry-Shoalhaven Heads.
